From The Desk of Principle

With over two decades devoted to early childhood education, I've established myself as a seasoned educator and experienced teacher. My true passion lies within the school environment, where I take immense pride in cultivating a caring, nurturing, and welcoming atmosphere. My mission is to ensure that both students and teachers fully embrace their educational journeys, unlocking their utmost potential.

During my tenure at an international school in Dubai, I played an integral role in the IB accreditation process. My dedication and excellence in teaching were acknowledged with the Best Teacher award, leading to my sponsorship to pursue the IB-PYP program. The IB curriculum plays a pivotal role in providing a comprehensive and balanced approach to early years learning.

My educational journey commenced at a convent school in Guwahati, followed by further studies at Guwahati University, where I earned my B.Ed. Additionally, I hold a degree in Education and Child Psychology. My passion for learning remains steadfast; I've participated in numerous IB workshops and specialized programs focused on autism and Early Childhood Education.

At Daffodil, we firmly believe in empowering children with both choices and a voice, fostering an environment where our learners can have a meaningful impact. This philosophy aligns perfectly with my belief encapsulated in the phrase

"Tell me and I will forget, Teach me and I may remember, Involve me and I will learn."
